Former American Idol Contestant Benjamin Glaze Given Insane Sentence In Kiddie Porn Case
A judge in Tulsa, Oklahoma has sentenced a former American Idol contestant Benjamin Glaze to a 25 year sentence.
A jury convicted Glaze of aggravated possession of child sexual abuse material last week.
The Tulsa Police Department said that they first received reports about Glaze’s activities in April 2024. They later discovered 700 images and videos depicting child sexual abuse on his device.
Police arrested the former singer and charged with aggravated possession of child sexual abuse material in October 2024.
He later pleaded guilty to the charges.
He will now serve 15 years in custody. After that, he will serve an additional 10 years suspended. Glaze will also have to register as a sex offender.
Since appearing on the show, Glaze joined the Marines in 2019 and served in Japan. According to his LinkedIn page, Glaze was also working as a video editor for business videos.

Glaze’s release conditions are wild! TMZ apparently got ahold of the court docs.
The court order says as part of his 10-year suspended sentence. It comes with a unbelievable wild list of hoops that include:
- The court is requiring Glaze to take a penile plethysmograph test. A penile plethysmograph test is a test tracks arousal while watching everything from PG-rated content to flat-out filth.
- He has to enroll in a sex offender program
- In addition, he also has to take the Abel Screen. This is a test that times how long his eyes linger on slides of kids versus adults.
- Glaze also can’t look at porn.
- He can’t step foot in strip clubs, sex shops, massage parlors, or adult theaters.
- He cannot call sex hotlines.
- Court order also bars him from picking up a hitchhikers!
The rules even dictate what he can wear. Glaze has to keep a proper appearance. This means he must wear appropriate clothing AND undergarments at all times. The court order also requires him to submit to blood tests to see if he has venereal diseases.
