Sicko Michigan Pedophile Sentenced to Over 15 Years in Federal Prison For Enticing A 13-Year-Old Ohio Girls For Sex
A federal judge in Detroit sentenced 41-year-old Mubasher Riaz to 188 months in prison. The sicko Michigan pedophile had pleaded guilty to charges of coercion and enticement of a minor for sex.
Court records show that in July 2023, Maumee, Ohio police learned that Riaz was messaging a 13-year-old girl. Snapchat communications between Minor Victim 1 (MV-1) Riaz showed that Riaz had requested and received nude images of the minor. He also attempted to gather information about her home. Police say Riaz intended to meet the victim to engage in sexual activity.
FBI agents also reviewed Riaz’s Snapchat communications with numerous other minors. One girl was as 11 years old.
Riaz also communicated with Minor Victim 2 (MV-2), who was 13 years old. He drove to MV-2’s foster home and engaged in sexual activity with her in his parked car.
Riaz also offered both MV-1 and MV-2 tobacco and other items in exchange for sex acts. The court required Riaz to pay $150,000 in restitution to his minor victims.
U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon, Jr. told the media:
The sentencing of Mubasher Riaz sends a powerful and unequivocal message to those who exploit children. The FBI also pledged they will aggressively pursue alleged pedophiles and bring them to justice. The FBI field office in Detroit says they are resolute in its mission to protect children. They also say that they will ensure that anyone who seeks to harm them will face justice.
