Virginia police have arrest Shotsie Michael Buck-Hayes the scorned husband set a Virginia lawmaker on fire. Buck-Hayes accused Danville City councilman Lee Volger of having an affair with his wife. The incident happened inside Vogler’s office. 

Police say Buck-Hayes poured gasoline on Danville City Council member Lee Vogler inside his office and then ignited him. 

Danville Police investigators said that Buck-Hayes admitted committing to the crime to officers. He allegedly told police, “He set the person on fire who had an affair with his wife.”

However, it remains unclear if there is any truth to Buck-Hayes’s claim. It sould be noted Buck-Hayes is also a UK citizen.

Police say the maniac Brit told cops that he had purchased gasoline at a gas station. He also stated he intended to kill Vogler by using a lighter to start the fire. 

Vogler’s wife Blair told the court that her husband suffered second and third-degree burns to 60% of his body. 

Blair Vogler also to the court it took 35% of his skin to cover the burns. Lee Vogler is also suffering from burn shock and septic shock. In addition, he is suffering from burns to his lungs due to smoke.

Vogler has been in hospital ever since the incident and is still recovering. He has two children with his wife.

Three witnesses testified at the hearing. The three witnesses include an employee of Showcase Magazine where the attack happened, a police investigator and Vogler’s wife.
