New York Social Worker Pleads Guilty To Receiving And Distributing Videos of Infants Being Raped

Licensed New York social worker Renee Hoberman has pleaded guilty in federal court to receiving and distributing child pornography. Hoberman faces up to 20 years in prison at his sentencing hearing.

Hoberman admitted to distributing extremely vile videos depicting the horrific sexual abuse of babies. The videos showed adults restraining and violently raping babies.

United States Attorney Joseph Nocella:

“The defendant’s crimes should outrage and offend every decent member of our society. My Office will relentlessly pursue predators like this defendant who victimize those who often cannot speak for themselves.  We will work tirelessly to ensure that those who harm children and perpetuate the plague of child sexual abuse and child pornography are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”

Hoberman also admitted to using encrypted social media messaging applications to trade these sick digital videos. The images depicted an adult male physically restraining and raping infants six months to one year of age.

Hoberman also engaged in multiple online “chats” concerning child sexual molestation. In these chats, Hoberman posed as the father of several minor children and claimed she had sex with the children. He also claimed he punished them by getting naked and stripping the children naked. Then spanked them while the other children watched. 

Hoberman invited another user to visit “his” family in New York to spank and sexually abuse the children. In addition, the he also described sexually abusing “his” children and their friends. He then sent videos containing child sexual abuse material. She claimed these videos depicted the defendant’s own children.

Hoberman was also working as a therapist with a non-profit in Long Island while distributing the sick kiddie porn. The non-profit serves children up to the age of 17.
