Social media influencer Brittni Stapleton and her husband are known for documenting her dreamy Gulf Coast travels. However, Joshua Stapleton had a dark secret. He was addicted to kiddie porn. Now, Joshua Stapleton is heading off to prison for 5 years for possessing child pornography. Yet, Brittni said she is standing by her man.

The Stapleton’s dream came to screeching halt. Investigators discovered that Joshua had downloaded images of children portrayed in sexually-charged situations during a raid on the home.
After more than a four year investigation, authorities sentenced Stapleton to last month to five years behind bars. The judge also tacked on another 15 years of probation after his release.
Brittani Stapleton took to TikTok with a lengthy video defending her husband. She even threatened legal action against anyone spreading what she called ‘false’ statements.
She also stated in the video:
“Josh was absolutely upfront with me about everything in the charges – there were no secrets.”
Georgia Law Enforcement Agencies Launch An Investigation Into Joshua Stapleton’s Internet Activities
The Cartersville Police Department received a tip and launched an investigation in 2020. The department received support from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the US Department of Homeland Security.
The investigation and a raid on the Stapleton’s home found Joshua had downloaded kiddie porn. They found nearly 40 sexually sexually explicit images of children between 2018 and 2020.
Authorities originally charged Stapleton with 15 counts of child porn possession. However, authorities later indicted him on a staggering 40 counts of sexual exploitation of children.
He ultimately accepted a non-negotiable plea deal. Stapleton pleading guilty to 20 counts while prosecutors dropped the remaining 20 charges.

The Stapletons amassed more than one million likes across TikTok and Instagram. The pair often share duo workouts and vacations with their 81,000 followers.
Just last week, the pair shared several videos from their trip to Orange Beach, Alabama.
Brittani’s latest post came in an eight-minute video posted to the popular platform. Many people have labeled it extremely concerning.
In the video, she sought to correct what she called ‘misinformation’ circulating online after news of her husband’s incarceration broke.
She even threatened people with legal action if they posted “false” information about her husband:
Brittani also addressed questions about her knowledge of her husband’s kiddie porn stash. She openly admitted, “Absolutely, I knew.”
Brittni Stapleton explained that they were friends with Joshua before dating. She said that when the charges surfaced, she reached out to him. Additionally, she stated that it didn’t sound like him he would do since they had already taken multiple vacations.
Law enforcement is currently holding Joshua at the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Jail. Authorities have yet to release additional information.
