Missouri Elementary School Teacher Dennis Adlai Hernandez Charged With Producing Kiddie Porn
Federal prosecutors in Western Missouri have indicted an Independence elementary school teacher Dennis Adlai Hernandez. Prosecutors charged Hernandez with seven-counts of producing child porn.
Court documents show prosecutors previously charged Hernandez with three counts of transporting of child pornography. In addition to produce and attempted to produce of child pornography. The feds also charged him with possession of child pornography.
Wednesday’s indictment also includes four additional counts of production and attempted production of child pornography. The indictment says the alleged incidents to occurred between August 2022 and August 2025.
Court documents show Hernandez allegedly admitted to recording nude young boys while he was working as an elementary school teacher. Hernandez confirmed he was a summer camp counselor with minor boys at Camp Takajo in Maine. Howe he denied any inappropriate activity with the campers.
Hernandez allegedly explained that his “dark inclination” with minor boys. He said it began while he was working as a camp counselor. He also admitted he started to search for and downloading child sexual abuse materials around 2020.
The charges contained in this indictment are simply accusations. They are not evidence of guilt. Prosecutor have to present evidence supporting the charges to a federal trial jury. The jury then determines guilt or innocence.
