Arizona City Councilwoman Who Called Tom Hanks A ‘Pedo’ Offered Man A TPUSA Job For Sex. When He Refused She Kidnapped His Child
Arizona City Councilwoman Jeanette Garcia allegedly offered a man a job in exchange for sex. However when he refused, she kidnapped his teen daughter.
A lawsuit claims Garcia who worked at Turning Point USA drunkenly propositioning the man. She also offering him a job at Turning Point USA.
Garcia allegedly made the indecent proposal at a TPUSA post-election celebration on Nov. 14, 2024.
The dad repeatedly rebuffed the overtures.
Doe was hired by TPUSA to promote the organization’s preferred candidates. He reported to Garcia.
Garcia Allegedly Kidnaps A 14-Year Old Girl
The night of incident, the dad got fed up with the inebriated Garcia’s increasingly aggressive sexual overtures. He claims he left the restaurant after midnight to get away from her.
However, when he arrived home 45 minutes later, his 14-year-old daughter was missing.
The panicked dad went searching for his daughter. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies greated him at his home when he arrived home. The deputies informed him his child was with Garcia, he said in the litigation. It’s unclear if the dad had called police himself.
The deputies informed the “shocked” father that his daughter was “safe” with the city councilwoman. He then made multiple unsuccessful attempts to call his daughter in front of the officers.
He was finally able to reach Garcia around 2:20 am. Garcia allegedly confirmed she had the girl, he claimed in the legal filing.
An extremely intoxicated Garcia and two other adults allegedly manipulated the child into Garcia’s car. Garcia allegedly told the girl she was concerned that her father had been drinking and could become violent.
The single dad claimed Garcia took his child without permission or consent. He also alleges that police were complicit in the kidnapping.
However, Authorities have never criminally charged Garcia.
He wasn’t able to get the girl back until the next day. The child’s grandmother called Garcia from a number the councilwoman didn’t recognize. She arranged to pick the girl up at a restaurant.
The incident left the girl “depressed” and “terrified” to leave her room. The father also claims the girl’s grades dropped and she began to skip extracurricular activities.
Garcia Is No Stranger To Bizarre Q-Anon Controversies
The Avondale City Council censured Garcia in March. Garcia referred to the actor Tom Hanks as a “pedo” on social media.
She posted:
The post was in reference to a Saturday Night Live skit in which Hanks played “Doug.”
Doug was a Trump-supporting white working-class contestant on the fictional show “Black Jeopardy.”
The City Councilwoman later claimed that by “pedo” she was not using the short term for “pedophile.” She claimed she was referring to the Spanish word for “fart.”
Garcia denied the allegations in a statement to AzFamily.com.
