Sarasota County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Connecticut couple last week. Law enforcement is accusing the couple of performing sexual acts in front of two children and their mother. The incident happened aboard a JetBlue flight from JFK airport in New York to Sarasota, Florida.

Police arrested Christopher Drew Arnold and Trista L Reilly after they touched down at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. TV station WWSB reports authorities have charged the couple with lewd or lascivious exhibition in the presence of minors.

The incident occurred on July 19 aboard a JetBlue flight from New York to Sarasota, Florida. Apparently, no one told them they have use the lavatory if they want to join the Mile High Club.

At approximately 10:28 am, a mother travelling with her two children approached a flight attendant. She told the flight attendant they witnessed two passengers engaging in sexual activity in their seats.

The children also confirmed the incident to law enforcement officers after landing.

Sheriff’s Deputies took both Reilly and Arnold, both of Danbury, Connecticut into custody around 11:30 am. The court released them from jail on their own recognisance. The court has scheduled an arraignment hearing on August 15th.

JetBlue has since banned the couple from flying with the airline. The company said in a statement to ABC7:

“This behavior is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by JetBlue. Immediately upon receiving the report, our crew members acted swiftly to engage JetBlue’s security team and law enforcement. We are fully cooperating with the investigation, and these customers are no longer welcome to fly with JetBlue.”

Connecticut Court Records also show that both Reilly and Arnold are facing unrelated pending misdemeanor charges in Connecticut. Those charge include disorderly conduct and assault. Connecticut police arrested Arnold in March in Danbury on those charges.
