Police Charge Maryland Mayor With 50 Counts Of Revenge Porn After He Posed Nude Photos Of His Ex-Girlfriend On Reddit

A Maryland mayor could spend the rest of his life in prison. Prosecutors say Cambridge Mayor Andrew Bradshaw posted nude photos of his ex without her consent in Reddit forums. Bradshaw posted the pictures on Reddit forums devoted to sexual humiliation and racial degradation.
State Prosecutors say Bradshaw was charged with 50 counts of distributing revenge porn on Monday.
Authorities say Bradshaw posted nude pictures of his ex-girlfriend on Reddit forums between April 3rd and May 20th. He also wrote incendiary captions like, “The kind of body black men love,” and, “I post my t****** on reddit to get attention and to get off.”
The court released Bradshaw without posting bail on Monday. He also faces a maximum of 100 year in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted on all counts.
Prosecutors say Bradshaw’s conduct violates Maryland’s Revenge Porn Statute. The statute prohibits:
Victim Files Police Complaint Against Maryland Mayor
The victim alerted authorities about the aunauthorized posts on May 14. The victim stated that Bradshaw was the only person who had access to the pictures.
The City of Cambridge city biography indicates Bradshaw currently lives with a partner.
Bradshaw posted the pictures on forums dedicated to sex, humiliation, degradation and race. They came from accounts that contained the victim’s name and birthday in the username. Thus, making it possible that someone could have identified her.
Prosecutors say the posts traced back to an IP address that services Bradshaw’s home.
Bradshaw faces a maximum of two years in prison and a $5,000 for each count.
Maryland Mayor Also Makes More Sexually Degrading Comments On Reddit
Bradshaw made more degrading comments about the victim on the Reddit forum:

He also posted a picture of the victim’s ‘intimate parts exposed and wrote:
Local news outlets had previously reported that his office had been raided back in August, but it was not known why.

Bradshaw will also continue to serve as Cambridge’s mayor for the time being.
Acting city manager David Deutsch said the city’s commissioners will be meeting with the city attorney ‘shortly’ to see ‘what options exist and if any action needs to be taken,’ according to the Baltimore Sun.
They’re likely to meet before the next official meeting in mid-December, he said.
Bradshaw is a lifelong resident of the Cambridge area. He became the youngest mayor in the city’s history back in January.
He attended Pennsylvania State University. At Penn State, he wrote for the local newspaper. He also interned at the legislative office of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan.
Bradshaw also worked at the family body shop business.
