Donna Klein Jewish Academy Teacher Elias Farley Is Accused Of Having Sex With A Student
Palm Beach County Sheriffs have arrested a Donna Klein Jewish Academy science teacher. Prosecutors have charged 26 year-old Elias Farley with allegedly having a sexual relationship with a senior student at the school.
Farley was a science teacher at the school. Authorities have charged him of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. In addition to offense against a student by an authority figure.
The PBSO conducted a multi-week investigation before arresting Farley. The investigation began after the student disclosed details of the relationship to her art teacher before Thanksgiving.
The student alleges the relationship started with frequent conversations about psychology.
Communication allegedly continued through email during the summer of 2025.
A school spokesperson said Farley is no longer employed there.
Escalation and Encounters
The student claims the physical aspect of the relationship began around mid-September. She had began staying late at the school to work on college essays.
The student described multiple incidents of physical contact occurring in Farley’s office.
She also stated that by late September or early October, interactions escalated to grinding. This lead to two occasions in October when she performed sexual acts on Farley.
The student alleged in she and Farley engaged in intercourse in a room at the school in late October.
The relationship allegedly continued off-campus. She states she visited Farley at his apartment on November 2nd and again on November 8th.
She also reported additional physical contact including biting on her stomach and inner thigh.
School and Police Response
The student disclosed the relationship to an art teacher. She showed the teacher the bruises and bite marks allegedly caused by Farley.
The art teacher then reported the incident to Donna Klein Principal Iliana Joseph. Joseph contacted Human Resources and filed a report about the relationship to Department of Children and Families (DCF).
The student’s mother told investigators she observed the bite marks. She then took steps to restrict her daughter’s access to electronic devices. The mother confirmed she had seen portions of the explicit Google document communication.
School security provided video footage from November 7th. The footage showed the student and Farley entering and exiting an office and a classroom.
Detectives recovered the Google emails containing the explicit details discussing bites. They also obtained an email from Farley informing her that his roommate would be out for the night on November 8th.
Farley was contacted by detectives on Nov. 26, but declined to give a statement, advising he would contact family and an attorney.
He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Dec. 4, according to court records.
A judge set bond at $250,000 for each count and placed him on house arrest pending trial.
Donna Klein Jewish Academy Responds
The school said they were, “approaching this serious situation with the utmost care.”
They emphasized that the well-being of students, faculty, and families remains its priority.
